I don't expect any future submissions to include such fabulous cover art, we just got lucky this time. Writers featured in this space are looking for you thoughts and feedback so please leave comments. Enjoy! [cover art by Tony Santana]

As I said before, great story.
I thought this story was insightful, witty, thought-provoking (can we say "finger-lickin' good", anyone?) and of course, funny as all hell. Maybe it's my hatred of most things Dominican (blame my ex) but I really felt connected to this story.
The other good thing about this story is that it takes a train ride to read - just beware of certain parts that might make your eyes bulge out (at least mine did).
I loved reading your story -- even the for a second time.
Monster is the story Ernesto Quinones (of Bodega Dreams) would write if he could. I'm not saying you're the next Piri Thomas, but I know that you put a lot of work into this and it shows. Thanks for submitting it and thanks for your comments, everybody.
I really liked it. Congratulations! As written above, maybe it's because of my hatred of all things dominican, namely because of my less than favorable opinion of dominican men, and puerto rican men, and ... j/k ;-)
I would love to read some more! It captures the awkwardness of coming of age we all go through.
