Good article by Johnson...sadly, I don't think anything will happen. It feels like the nov. 06 elections was the public's big statement...now the public is in cruise control. congress won't do shit, the war will continue and maybe in Jan 09 the new president will take charge and fix things.
all these Sons of Bitches should pay. has anyone notice how low key Bush has been? meanwhile millions of dollars go to waste in an unjust war, more american soldiers die and thousands of innocent people in iraq die.
this war will come back to haunt us. yesterday I walked by a vigil/display showing how many people have died due to collateral damage in the war. they had lined up about 500 pairs of shoes with little tags showing the name of the people who had died. many many children. it was fucking depressing.
most americans are too busy with the $1,000 pizza story though...or American Idol or some other bullshit distraction...our gov't has assured us future terroist by carrying out this war.
