Starbucks is now displaying the calorie information of all of their food products. Don't know if this is in response to city legislation or voluntary. Faced with this information will people still consume at the same rates? A latte and one of these would amount to about 2/3 of an average sized woman's daily caloric intake. Yikes!

That's a pretty conspicous place to post caloric information. Its probably good for business that they are not hiding how caloric their food is.
Big chubby guys like me see that and think, "Only 470 calories? This is basically diet food. Like eating, I don't know, 4 maybe 5 bananas all at once."
In Big D's calculus its the equivalent of a $.99 bag of Doritos (any variety, take your pick). I would appreciate the $.25 size equivalent of this cookie.
people need to be more active. women should have more sex to burn off the calories...that's all i have to say..
just kidding. it is great that folks have the info but most people don't understand calorie intake and the need for some form of exercise.
the other day while i stumbled to McDonald's i decided to do some jumping jacks on my way to and while waiting on line to order my 2 big mac meals... :-)
