the GOPs have 4 months to spin everything from the war to our economy. I hope the masses are smart enough to see through their bullshit.
on a side note, Democratic Gov. Rod Blajgovich (sp) of Illinois has started his tv ads against his Republican challenger, Julie Topinka. they are awesome! he quotes Topinka as saying a family that earns $70K does not need assistance with family health insurance (doh!...topinka is an idiot). another ad uses the fact that Topinka served for Gov. Ryan who has been recently convicted of corruption/bribes and rackteering in Federal court to gently imply birds of the same feather, flock together! while these ads are nothing compared to Karl rove twisted and unethical tactics, they do deliver heavy but fair blows. shit the dems need to get rolling now!
expect more political bullshit moves like the effort to pass a Constitutional Amendment to protect the American Flag (fucking possers). Iraq is going to nuts in the next coming months. they want us out and they will raise all hell before elections with the hope that the American public gets fed up and votes accordingly.
an expect some new crisis to distract us from Iraq...be it Iran or North Korea, Venezuela, Bolivia--since the Immigration shit seems to have backfired. Those SOB GOPs did not expect millions to unite and peacefully demonstrate! haha..putos!
Bush is in my neck of the woods, Chicago...here is some coverage:
Bush is spending more nights out on the road this summer as part of a public-relations effort aimed at boosting his low standing in polls and GOP chances in this fall's midterm elections. The idea is to place Bush in more freewheeling settings where aides believe he comes across best and give him more prolonged exposure before local media that sometimes pay more attention to his domestic agenda. from yahoo
it is so sad that public opinion changes just from this sort of action rather extensive policy changes or meaningful policy decisions. fuck are Americans that stupid? I hope not. I hope we lay down the law in November.
