Please - oh - please, please, please - can we win some these damn mid-term elections. It would be nice to have a majority in either the house or senate. I know that gerrymandering has made it a difficult task.
All this reminds me - who is running in 2008 for the Dems? Hillary, John Edwards - possibly Al Gore and/or Barack Obama. Looks like McCain is the likely frontrunner on the Repub side. Is McCain going to hire Rove? Does anyone give a shit?
It probably does still work. Especially since the Dems seem to be "functioning" without a playbook of their own.
2008 is far from now so I am not worried about who will run against McCain. if the dems run hillary or obama we will lose. this country is not ready for a woman or a african-american president. too bad.
but the mid-term elections in Nov are going to be critical. we need to win back both the house and senate.
enough is enough with this motherfucker karl rove. democrats need to push back and get it done.
