Latin Anthem

The spanish version of the national anthem doesn't offend me but I do feel it's something that's being hoisted into the debate unnecessarily. I resent the fact that the song is being used to measure the character, loyalty, and other qualities of immigrants, none of whom have anything to do with the song. Nonetheless I think it's important to remember that free speech is the cornerstone of our constitution and whether we agree with something or not, we should recognize the value of allowing people to express themselves. According to the Daily News, even Condi rice is cool with it but I wouldn't be surprised if that pandering ass known as Hillary comes out as having a problem with it.

Don't get it twisted folks...a group of artists did their version of the National Anthem that's all. it has been done before and will be done again. ....but you know underneath it is the fear that for some reason the National Anthem will be sung in spanish at the next baseball game! omg say it aint so! relax right-wing critics...this is just another version...the anthem will always remain the same and sung in English.

we now return you to your regular program....

yeah boy!! 1.1 million peaceful and powerful latino demonstrators and allies in your mug!! May Day, which started in Chicago is no longer celebrated in the US, but leave it to Latinos and their allies to bring back the spirit of Unity and Empowerment, motherfuckers! In Chicago, the demonstrations came through the street next to my office. I went down for a bit and watched it all day from the office window. History in the making and just incredible. those motherfuckers in DC and elected offices nationwide better fucking recognize!

last night i stopped my channel cruising on Bill O'Reilly for a second just to watch his scared ass talk nonsense while he interviewed Geraldo Rivera. funny how O'Reilly simply lowers the volume of the microphone on any guest who is making any sense and contradicting O'Reilly's nonsene. Wit regard to the demonstrators O'Reilly said "we are not going to let a mob rule our policies"...a mob? motherfucker get your head out your ass and your hands off your female employees...this is the sleeping-giant leaving it all over your jaw!

As you can tell I am very excited and optimistic about the demonstration on this issue. Maybe once we are done with defeating the crazy legislation that sought to make it a felony to be an undocument worker or to aid an undocumented worker, which started all this uproar (and which came at a perfect time to distract the public from the war, the president's low approval ratings, the hurricane season (oh shit is the south ready?), etc) we can back to pressing issues like the war, middle east problems, preparing Gulf state for hurricane season etc etc...

Peace,
R
