I wonder how many accidents occur in that intersection. that was crazy. the pedestrians were nuts too.

it's funny how human nature without rules looks chaotic to us but is actually the ultimate level of order. I'll bet no one ever gets hurt in this intersection because they all know that they're all in it together.

my co-worker who is Indian says that the culture there is different. folks drive a lot slower when entering such intersections and they don't have the "I have the right of way" mind set but instead cooperative motion. plus i bet they are not busy putting on make-up while talking on cell-phone, driving kids to soccer practice/band/chorus/100 other activites to help them get into college (but won't really help them).

Sorry guys, dont mean to be negative, but the zen outlook is just too through.....you're indian co-worker saying the culture there is different? now that's news...i will grant you that if there are no traffic lights and everybody is going when they can go, everybody has to be a bit more cognizant of others....but that mess i just saw reeks of the ultimate "i have the right of way society" not the "we're all in it together" mindset. it is not the ultimate level of order.....rather, it is the most base....pau, i'll bet you that there are crazy accidents there all the time....

they actually have more deaths per vehicle than the U.S. so yeah a few stop signs/traffic lights and rules could help.

Seems like a lot of folks saw a lot more in the video than I did. I just thought it was pretty cool, yet crazy, and interesting. I blog, you decide. Ha!
